Freedom
To be Free,
Away from the honeycomb ask the busy bee.
Travelling slow and wide like the waves of the sea.
In the air the sea gulls shout with glee.
As the sun shines into a new day,
The fish in the ocean jump towards the sky, happy and gay.
The water glitters as the waves carry the sun’s first ray.
Deep in the forest, near the beach and bats in their dark caves lay.
As the wind blows, trees sway and shed their yellow leaves that turn dry,
As the leaves float in the air, they hear the sea hawks cry.
Pink and white stalks in the shallow water, to catch more fish they try.
Crabs come out of the cracks in the hot sand and around the place they pry.
Marvelling at the splendour of nature, as I bent down on one knee,
A beautiful white dove came flying down at me.
With no care or worry of the world, it signified the key.
The key of freedom, the key to be free!!
