To be Free, Away from the honeycomb ask the busy bee. Travelling slow and wide like the waves of the sea. In the air the sea gulls shout with glee. As the sun shines into a new day, The fish in the ocean jump towards the sky, happy and gay. The water glitters as the waves carry the sun’s first ray. Deep in the forest, near the beach and bats in their dark caves lay. As the wind blows, trees sway and shed their yellow leaves that turn dry, As the leaves float in the air, they hear the sea hawks cry. Pink and white stalks in the shallow water, to catch more fish they try. Crabs come out of the cracks in the hot sand and around the place they pry. Marvelling at the splendour of nature, as I bent down on one knee, A beautiful white dove came flying down at me. With no care or worry of the world, it signified the key. Far in the horizon I could see the golden sun rising into a new day... First the sun appeared like a white half hoop surrounded by a ring of soft pink and yellow As the minutes went by, the hoop formed a perfectly round prominent circle. More like a golden ring. It started to get brighter from the centre and the brightness spread around… Inch by inch as the brightness overtook the sky, dazzling light spread all over; its magnificent reflection fell over lightening the dark waters of the sea. The yielding rays of the sun brightened up the clouds lingering in the blue… As the soft rays touched the waves of the gigantic ocean, it seemed as though a great goddess settled over the earth with her shiny crown and snow white attire, spreading her countless blessings to mankind… -Sanaya

I walked on the beach remembering our old times... And As I walked, I felt the sand soft under my feet and warm from the day’s sun… The wind blew in my face fluffing my hair back and around my shoulders. I could taste the salty air brushing past me… The sun was at its descent and it looked gorgeous!!! It was glittering and gleaming as its wavy reflection showed in the deep Blue sea! As the mist started to clear, I could see an island in the distance. A small island covered in green foliage…what a sight!!! Filled with beauty… The soft chirps of the birds, returning home, filled my ears and as I closed my eyes, I felt as though I were floating in the air with them… Floating into the soft white clouds and settling there…. As I looked down I saw the beauty the earth possessed!!! The gracious waterfalls, lush green trees, beautiful flowers, the vast ocean….. In a dreamy daze as I awoke, I could hear the waves lashing on the shore…. The sun started to rise….it was a soft white at first, then...

Through clear glass as I watch the ocean, Its vastness and striking beauty grips me, Deep blue waters end in the horizon, Where, the evening bids farewell to the setting sun. The sun’s reflection cascades on the rippled ocean. Each wave and ripple splashes on the shore, leaving behind white, soft ocean spray, which disappears instantly. As the waves recede, and push back into the ocean, they leave behind smooth, soft sand with slightly rippled impressions on it. I marvel at the beauty of the ocean… The setting sun reveals a wonderful palette of colours in the flawless, dauntless sky… Approaching, far in the distance a dark hue smears the sky increasingly as the night falls… -San
