Aircraft Crash

Crashing down, aircraft struck,

Just a stroke of pure bad luck.

Smoky fumes starting in its tail spreading fast,

Dark Clouds overhead, big shadows they Cast.

Feeling numb not hot nor cold,

Lower he goes feeling bold yet losing hold.

Drop of sweat upon his brow,

Trying to think of anything his brain will allow.

Adrenaline pumping ready to jump,

Seat ejected and out of the plane with a bump.

Pilot in a parachute leaving the burning airship,

Thankful for his escape floating around the air sharp as a whip.

Plane crashed, exploded into smithereen,

The most dangerous a journey could have ever been.

Wounded and burned, gliding through cool air,

Half unconscious, falling down towards trees without a care.

Consciousness returned, Wide eyed and scared,

he was recovering in a hospital bed.

To his mind no memories came,

To his utter shock he couldn’t recall! not even his name.

Unaccounted Time and Memory lapse entwined,

Into a foggy daze where nothing mattered leaving the past behind.

Until one day he will be cured,

from all the pain that he Endured.

With a Forgotten past, lingering present and hope filled future.

That he will hold so dear.
